Chinese traditional Mid-Autumn Festival
CWC‘s holiday is from Sep 10 to Sep 12
Glad to share our happiness with you.
There are lots of traditional festivals in China.
The Mid-Autumn festival is one of them.
In general,We celebrate it on 12,September every year.
It originates from a beautiful Chinese Folk legend "The Goddess Chang's fly to the moon".The Goddess Chang was originally a common people,but she wants to be immortal.So she eat the Longevity panacea but not to tell her familys,then she go to the Paradise.The emperor arrange her to live in the Moon,which is uninhabited except the Goddess Chang.However,she miss her family so much,so that her hair turns white overnight.But she unable back to the mortal for ever.The moon turns bright and round when she is missing her familys.
So we usually stay together with our familys to eat moon cake and watch full moon in Mid-autumn festival.Besides,we also send moon cake to our friends to express our missing.
